Mim by Metal-Truncator Mim by Metal-Truncator
Mim. Of the Mad Madam order, is discovered in the woods by an elderly gentleman and his ward.

The owl is missing - and the whole thing is in the style of a 30s strip like "Jimmy and his magic patch" which was about a boy who travels through time assisted by a piece of magic carpet sewn into his shorts.

To the :iconferalgargantua: and all that sail in her!

Its the marvellous, magical, mad madam mim! Fabulous. Of course, I'm not familiar with Jimmy or his magic path, but I am aware of winne the pooh, which this bears some similarities to, albeit via disney...

That's a good idea, doing it in that sort of story book style^^. And I like that only the Mim-Fox is coloured.

And thanks for introducing me to Jimmy and his magic patch, what an awesome premise that one has :D

well if she weren't I think it'd be a little too vague as to who she is. Shoulda put the owl in as well - thanks a ton for the fave.

Jimmy and the Magic Patch is but one of my favourite stories in that style - there was one about a load of time-travelling pirates - what was the deal with that?! Comics in the 30s were almost as nuts as they are now.

Probably true. And the spot of colour really livens up the picture.

And yeah, old comics can be awesome^^. I really don't know that much about British comics. I've seen a copy of Beano once and I know a bit about 2000AD and Dan Dare. And two of my favourite female comic characters are Modesty Blaise and Wicked Wanda. And that's about it, I think :)
